Park full of activities and fun – Puistofiesta on 3 August 2025

The Puistofiesta – activities at Hämeenpuisto kicks off an autumn season full of activities. This year, more than 80 organizations, companies, and associations will be offering a relaxed and entertaining program in the park’s green surroundings. The Puistofiesta event area stretches from Hämeenkatu to Näsinpuisto park.

Dancing, scouting, sports and music

This year, visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at for example cheerleading, ringette, Thai boxing, various musical instruments, and fencing. In addition, participants can get familiar with Japanese tea ceremony, scouting, martial arts and Icelandic horses. 

Stage program for visitors of all ages

At Hämeenpuisto boulevard, you can enjoy an entertaining stage program. This year, the event stage at the end of Hämeenkatu will feature mentalist Jose Ahonen, singer-songwriter Aliisa Syrjä, and the energetic band Hauli Bros. Tuomo Rannankari and Salmisen Posetiivi will entertain the youngest members of the family with their cheerful stage show.

As usual, Simo Frangen will be the host of the event. In honor of the Moomin 80th anniversary, the stage will also feature a presentation on how Tampere became the home of the world’s only Moomin Museum.
