Hämeenpuisto boulevard was filled with fun activities and entertainment – relive the highlights

Puistofiesta – Activities at Hämeenpuisto boulevard was celebrated in Hämeenpuisto boulevard on Sunday, 3 August, in a joyful summer atmosphere. The traditional outdoor event for the whole family, now in its 14th year, filled Hämeenpuisto with activities and stage performances. This time, more than 80 companies and associations set up activity stations where event visitors could try out different activities and other fun things to do.

The autumn season, filled with hobbies, kicked off at the Puistofiesta. This year, event visitors were able to test their skills in ringette, dance, cheerleading, and martial arts, among other things. In addition to energetic sports, visitors to the park were introduced to Japanese tea ceremony, scouting, mermaid swimming, and playing instruments.

“At Puistofiesta, we once again enjoyed the joy of doing things and got in the mood for an autumn filled with hobbies. Event visitors were excited to try out activities ranging from energetic sports to more creative hobbies, says event producer Matilda Toriseva.

In between activities, event visitors were treated to an energetic stage program. This year, the event stage featured music, mentalism, and a children’s play show. Singer-songwriter Aliisa Syrjä and the band Hauli Bros provided the music. Tuomo Rannankari and Salmisen Posetiivi delighted the youngest members of the family on stage. Mentalist Jose Ahonen brought the audience into a mystical atmosphere.
